Basic information/ description of the type of water pollution (at least 4 different types of water pollution)
What is Water Pollution?
Water pollution is when bodies of water is mixed with unclean materials. (e.g. chemical waste)
When does it occur?
It occur when pollutant are discharge whether or not it is directly or in indirectly.
What does water pollution?
Water pollution affect the plant and living organism in it.
Different types of water pollution:
1. Surface Water Pollution – It is trash floating on the water surface. The consumption from human such as, water bottles, plastics and other waste products. This kind of pollution can also be cause by oil spills and gasoline waste. The place where surface water pollution occur are oceans, rivers, ponds, floodplains and lakes. This kind of pollution affect the water and its inhabitants.
2. Groundwater Pollution – Most water on Earth is found underground in soil or under rock structures called aquifers.Groundwater pollution is becoming more and more relevant the aquifers below the soil and the water we drink. It is usually because it caused by highly toxic chemical. It is also usually caused pesticides from farming that leak through the ground to contaminate the wells.
3. Chemical Pollution – Chemical pollution is caused by chemical going into the water sources. Due to many nature of industry these days, we have chemical running off and flows into the nearby water sources and which will polluted it and will harm the wildlife. Petroleum is a different type of chemical pollutant that is cause by when ship ruptures in the ocean and contaminates the water through oil spills.
4. Nutrient Pollution – Nutrient Pollution are usually found in waste water and fertilizers. It will cause excess vegetation in the water such as algae and weeds, which will use up the oxygen in the water sources hurting the surrounding marine life and other organisms in the water.

**Yellow River**
The Yellow river or the Hwang Ho river in Lanzhou, China is one of the most polluted river in the world. The water change into red color due to unknown contaminant flowing out of a local sewer.
